Today I have revisited a card style I have made in the past. This version uses the Happy Birthday Gorgeous photopolymer stamps (143662) from Stampin' Up! along with the Stitched Shaped framelits (145372) to create the aperture and surrounding frame. It is a box style, stand alone card, made using half a sheet of A4 card. The card is cut on the long side to create a strip that is then scored, folded and glued to create a card with accordion sides. I used Flirty Flamingo card (141416) as the base colour and paired it with So Saffron card (105118). I cut the largest circle framelit using Whisper White card (100730) and then decorated it, stamping the Happy Birthday sentiment and then flowers all around the edge. This was glued flat, inside the card, lined up with the aperture. The card front was embossed, using a favourite folder of mine that has been retired for many years now called Elegant Bouquet, it just embosses one side and the base. Then I stamped three flowers and fussy cut them, these were added to the card front on dimensional foam pads, these also had Wink of Stella added for extra sparkle (141897). Finally on the front I added some bling with sparkly gems. The back panel had a layer of So Saffron card and carrying on with the stamped theme a sentiment and flowers were added.
