Under My umbrella
In my world of crafting I have to say pattern paper or DSP as it is known in the world of Stampin' Up! is my guilty pleasure. My stash just continues to grow. I continually set myself challenges to use up the ever expanding pile so I thought I would share a few ideas using the Under My Umbrella bundle from Stampin' Up!
My first card is very simple. I have layered a Very Vanilla card with Peaceful Poppies paper layered on Basic Black card. I then die cut the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and stamped with the Under My Umbrella set to create a focal point. I also stamped the umbrella which has a co-ordinating punch and fussy cut the welly boots from the set. Adding Wink of Stella created a look of moisture on the umbrella and boots.
My next card uses some of the same papers from the Peaceful Poppies DSP to create the punched umbrellas. This card also uses the Reverse Stamping technique with the Under My Umbrella stamp set however I have added the lady from the Beautiful You stamps. This technique allows you to create a full mirror image or just a reflection depending on ink and materials used. See more of my cards using this technique on my full video which can be found here
